I have the same exact problem with my US-1641. I use Windows 7, and if I don't have two programs playing sound at once, it starts popping and crackling incessantly. I think it's a problem with the driver.

TASCAM Engineering team is working on the compatibility verification with the pre-release version of newest macOS Catalina by Apple. Once evaluations are completed, the results will be announced as soon as possible on this page.
